Running events across three countries, for startups, mentors, trainers and coworking members, over a two-year period, requires more than general event management. It requires a local partner who understands how Interreg programmes work and what project managers actually need from their logistics support.
MICE.BA is that partner for the CODES EU project event logistics in the innovation sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
About the CODES Project
CODES is a cross-border EU project focused on strengthening innovation capacity and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies across the Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro region. The project supports innovation processes and improves business support services for existing and new small and medium enterprises. The lead partner is INTERA Technology Park in Mostar. The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme.

What MICE.BA Delivers on This Project?
MICE.BA was engaged for full logistics and operational support across all key project activities. We are available to the project team for training programme coordination, meetup organisation, cross-border travel coordination and accommodation management.
- Training and support programmes for innovators: We organise training programmes for innovators and coworking space members in Mostar. We also coordinate cross-border travel for programme participants travelling from Mostar to Zadar, Tuzla and Nikšić as part of project mobility activities;
- Bootcamp in Mostar: We organised a five-day bootcamp with four nights of accommodation for 34 participants, including startups, mentors and trainers. The service covered half-board accommodation, catering throughout the event and full logistics support for the duration of the programme;
- Meetups and events within the coworking programme: We coordinated venue rental for four two-hour meetups and three full-day events as part of the coworking programme in Mostar. This included space setup, technical equipment and catering;
- Cross-border travel and accommodation: We coordinated travel arrangements and single-room accommodation with breakfast and dinner for programme participants travelling across three countries, within the project’s cross-border mobility activities.

Managing logistics on an EU project is more than booking rooms and organising catering. It requires understanding the project structure, anticipating changes between planning and delivery and making sure every activity runs without disruption.
