The Second Economic Forum of West Herzegovina County took place on 5 February 2025 at Hotel Bigeste in Ljubuški. The theme was “Economic Development and Challenges in 2025.” The forum brought together business leaders, sector experts and government representatives. The goal was to strengthen cooperation between the private sector and the county government.
MICE.BA organised this event for the second consecutive year. When a government client returns for a second edition, it means the first one delivered what was expected.
Why a Second Commission Matters
For international agencies evaluating local PCO partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a repeat commission from a public sector client is a relevant signal. Government institutions in BiH operate with formal procurement requirements. They return to suppliers who deliver reliably and on time. The West Herzegovina County Government chose MICE.BA again because the working relationship and the outputs met their expectations.
MICE.BA brings the same attention to detail to every event. Whether it is a first engagement or a repeat commission, the approach stays the same. What makes continued work possible is a clear understanding of the client’s objectives and consistent delivery for the target audience.

Why Forums Like This Matter for the MICE Sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina
A well-organised economic forum does two things simultaneously. It creates a platform for meaningful exchange between the public and private sectors, which is the direct objective of the event. And it demonstrates that the destination, in this case a smaller county town like Ljubuški, can host a professional, media-visible business event with national-level participants.
Each successful forum strengthens the MICE offer of its location and contributes to the broader case for Bosnia and Herzegovina as a business event destination.
