The Western Balkans is where the most discerning incentive planners are turning their attention — and for good reason.
The old towns of Mostar and Sarajevo, the vineyards of Herzegovina and the fjord-like Bay of Kotor still carry the power to genuinely astonish — and that surprise is what makes an incentive programme truly memorable.
Premium experiences — private wine cellar dinners, exclusive mountain retreats, UNESCO heritage tours with lower cost than comparable Western European destinations. Your clients get more for their budget.
The region offers a rare concentration of UNESCO-listed sites, centuries-old crafts, Ottoman bazaars and Mediterranean landscapes — all within a two-hour drive of each other, making multi-experience programmes genuinely easy to execute.
Direct flights connect Sarajevo, Mostar, Split and Dubrovnik to major European hubs. Road connections between BiH, Croatia and Montenegro enable seamless multi-destination itineraries without complex logistics.
The Western Balkans is not a region that performs hospitality — it lives it. Your clients’ groups will feel it from the first moment, and it will be what they talk about when they return home.
Navigating three countries, multiple suppliers and cross-border logistics requires a local partner who knows the region inside out. MICE.BA is a CIS-certified DMC agency with 15+ years of experience.
As your local DMC, we take full ownership of every element of your incentive programme on the ground. Here is what that means in practice
We propose itineraries, venues and experiences based on your clients’ group profile, objectives and budget — drawing on first-hand knowledge that no amount of online research can replicate.
Access to vetted hotels, boutique properties, exclusive venues and private estates across all three destinations, with negotiated rates and full contract management.
Coordination of all transfers, private coaches, airport pickups and inter-destination movement — timed precisely and always with a backup plan.
From private winery dinners and rooftop Sarajevo evenings to traditional stone konoba lunches and Mediterranean gourmet experiences — we curate F&B that becomes a highlight of the programme, not just a meal.
Team building activities, cultural workshops, adventure experiences, guided tours, wine blending challenges, culinary workshops, craft experiences with local artisans — all designed to create moments that participants remember and share.
Welcome amenities, branded gifts, surprise elements, personalised touches — the details that elevate a good programme to an exceptional one.
Our team is present throughout the programme — managing logistics, coordinating suppliers, handling the unexpected and ensuring your clients’ experience is exactly what was promised.

Mostar → Stolac → Herzegovina wine country
A curated route through Bosnia & Herzegovina’s most extraordinary UNESCO-listed heritage — the Old Bridge of Mostar, the medieval stećci tombstones of Stolac and the underground wonder of Vjetrenica cave — paired with a Herzegovina wine and gastronomy experience that brings the region’s culture to the table. Private guides, exclusive venues and locally sourced F&B throughout.
Duration: 2–3 days | Group size: 10–80 participants

Dubrovnik → Mostar → Sarajevo
Begin your journey with a boat ride on the sea, with views of Dubrovnik’s ancient city walls — a private evening tour and exclusive welcome dinner. Continue to Mostar for a boutique hotel stay, a guided Old Town experience and a custom team challenge built around the city’s iconic bridge. Option to extend to Sarajevo for a third day of cultural immersion and a farewell dinner in the Ottoman bazaar quarter.
Duration: 2–4 days | Group size: 15–150 participants

Jahorina · Bjelašnica · Igman
Bosnia’s Olympic mountains hosted the 1984 Winter Olympics and today offer some of the most authentic alpine experiences in Europe — winter or summer. Snow challenges, mountain treks, wellness retreats and exclusive team dinners in a mountain setting that feels genuinely remote, yet is 30 minutes from Sarajevo.
Duration: 2–3 days | Group size: 15–80 participants
Each package is additionaly tailored to your objectives and budget.

Mostar’s culinary scene is one of Herzegovina’s best-kept secrets — a blend of Ottoman tradition, Mediterranean influence and locally sourced ingredients that tell the story of the region better than any guided tour. Your clients’ group moves through the city’s finest restaurants and food producers, prepares traditional dishes alongside local chefs and sits down together to savour the result. A relaxed, sensory experience that brings people together around the table in one of Europe’s most atmospheric old towns.
Duration: 1 day | Group size: 10–60 participants

Herzegovina’s vineyards stretch across sun-drenched limestone plateaus, producing native varieties — žilavka, blatina and trnjak — that remain largely unknown to the outside world. Your clients’ group moves through family-owned wineries and stone-walled cellars, tasting wines and local delicacies at each stop before taking on the centrepiece challenge: creating their own wine blend. The result is a bottle to take home and a shared experience that no conference room could replicate.
Duration: 1–2 days | Group size: 10–60 participants

The narrow cobbled streets of Sarajevo’s Ottoman bazaar quarter lead your clients’ group through centuries of living craft tradition — past coffee houses, mosques and market stalls — to the Latin Bridge and into an old coppersmith workshop where a master craftsman has been shaping copper by hand for decades. Under his guidance, each participant creates their own handcrafted copper souvenir — a tangible, personal keepsake that connects them to this journey long after the programme ends.
Duration: half day | Group size: 10–40 participants
