The Government of West Herzegovina County commissioned MICE.BA to organise their Economic Forum. A formal business event bringing together the county government and the private sector. The goal was to strengthen cooperation between public authorities and business leaders, identify the priorities and challenges of the private sector and create a platform for future collaboration.

The forum was structured around four programme units that moved from private sector challenges to government responses and sector-specific presentations.
Panel Discussion 1: Opportunities, Needs and Challenges of the Private Sector in West Herzegovina County
Participants included owners and directors of leading private companies from the county: Petar Ćorluka (Violeta d.o.o.), Damir Pavković (Mesna industrija Rakitno), Eugen Šušak (TT kabeli d.o.o.), Stjepan Primorac (Hotel Bigeste d.o.o.) and Miljenko Crnjac (MCI d.o.o.).
Panel Discussion 2: Creating a Positive Business Environment in West Herzegovina County
Led by the county government, with participation from Predrag Čović (Prime Minister of West Herzegovina County), Petar Pišković (Adviser to the Minister of Economy), Daniela Perić (Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport), Tomislav Pejić (Minister of Health, Labour and Social Welfare) and Zvonimir Širić (Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection).
Presentation: Challenges and Expectations in the Energy Sector

What MICE.BA Delivered
Programme host and content preparation: We sourced and worked with a professional programme host and supported the preparation of programme content.
Catering: We planned and coordinated all catering for the event, including the post-forum reception with local Herzegovinian food.
Venue, stage and technical setup: We prepared the conference hall, stage, audio-visual equipment and all technical infrastructure.
Entertainment programme: We organised the entertainment component of the forum.
Participant reception: We managed the reception of all participants and speakers on arrival, handled registration, coordinated seating in the hall and delivered final briefings before the programme began.
PR campaign and media communication: We sent event announcements and invitations to media, including online portals and print outlets. We managed media communication during the event. Distributed a press release after the forum and sent thank-you notes and photographs to all participants.
Post-event follow-up: We conducted a follow-up with participants and the client to reinforce the county government’s commitment to continued cooperation with the private sector.
What This Project Demonstrates
A government-level economic forum requires a specific approach. The client is a public institution with formal protocol requirements. The participants are business owners and senior managers who have high expectations and limited time. The programme needs to be substantive, well-paced and technically flawless.
